Encrypt your data and folders securely.
Right-click, password, done. SevenShield encrypts files and entire folders, including file names. Perfect for law firms, medical practices, and businesses that work with sensitive documents, not cryptography.
Send encrypted, don't just store
A locked folder can be shared just like any other file: by email, USB stick, or cloud storage. The recipient only needs SevenShield and the correct password to open it. This way, SevenShield protects sensitive documents in transit too, not just on the hard drive.
Share the password through a different channel than the file itself, for example by phone instead of in the same email. Otherwise the encryption loses its purpose.
Proven standard methods
SevenShield relies on AES-256-GCM and Argon2id instead of proprietary methods. Security comes from established, openly documented standards, not secrecy.
Core code viewable
The actual encryption logic is published as open source so it can be independently verified.
No cloud required
Your files stay local on your computer. SevenShield sends nothing to servers and collects no usage data.
Sensitive data management
SevenShield encrypts confidential documents right where they're used every day: in law firms, medical practices, engineering offices, and laboratories.
Law firms
Encrypts client files, correspondence, and contract drafts without changing your workflow.
Medical practices
Protects patient data locally, independent of practice management software or cloud connections.
Engineering offices
Secures blueprints, calculations, and client data against unauthorized access.
Laboratories
Archives analysis results and measurement series encrypted, without separate systems.
SevenErase: delete files securely and permanently
Emptying the recycle bin only removes the reference. The data stays on the drive and can be recovered with freely available tools. SevenErase overwrites files, folders and free disk space before removing them, so deleted data cannot be recovered, for example before selling or passing on a PC.
- Files and folders overwritten with random data before deletion
- Wipe free disk space, so previously deleted remnants disappear too
- No installation, no sign-up, no data transfer
Windows may show a security notice on first launch because SevenErase is still new. Click “More info” and then “Run anyway” to start it.

On SSDs and USB drives, the storage controller distributes writes on its own. Individual old copies therefore cannot be reached in every case. For complete security, store sensitive data encrypted from the start.
That is exactly what SevenShield is for: what was never stored in plain text does not need to be wiped thoroughly later.
